A Chinese Cloisonne Plate is created using the Cloisonn茅 technique, which involves using colored-glass paste inside enclosures constructed of bent or hammered copper or bronze wires to create designs on metal containers. Enamel, a glass paste, is painted into the designated pattern regions after being tinted with metallic oxide. It is then fired at a low temperature of around 800掳C multiple times so that the designs can be filled in. After this, the cloisons' edges are rubbed at the vessel's surface until they are visible.
