I'm not a experienced traveler/flyer I probably only have like 10,000 miles or less in the air. I just don't have many reasons to fly. That being said I have always heard Southwest was the UnCool Wal-Mart of all the airlines. Well if saving from $350-$400 on 4 round trips is UnCool; then call me UnCool. Because that is what I saved by flying Southwest. I always hear or see on TV that flying Southwest is nightmare, and is not the hip thing to do. Well I didn't have any problems during my travel with Southwest Airlines. Both flights were on time, and smooth. We were able to check-in online through their mobile website to secure a boarding pass. Yeah they didn't have an in flight movie, a meal, or serve champagne. But I didn't book a flight for that reason. The staff was courteous and patient with my boys. Which I must say I was surprised my 4 year old didn't scream bloody murder when we first took off; being it was his first time to fly. Overall I gave Southwest Airlines 5 stars. You just can't beat the price, and oh yeah bags do fly free. One other thing I must say I was glad I didn't have to use the seat belt extender; the last time I flew I did have to use it."
