Expedia's toll-free number 186-655-42666 is advertised as the main customer support line for quick, 24-hour help, but my recent experience left me extremely disappointed. I had a hotel credit from a cancelled January 2025 reservation, yet I was unable to apply it toward a new booking despite multiple attempts. Every time I contacted customer service and brought up the credit, the call ended unexpectedly--this happened about five times in a single evening. I also located a hotel listed online for $97, but when speaking with Expedia, I was given a quote of $200 and told it was the best available price, even after showing proof of the lower rate. Based on these interactions, I personally feel the company handled my situation poorly and would caution others to be careful when relying on their services.
