14 reviews and 12 photos of FINNAIR "I recently used Finnair on several occasions during the past year. Each time with flights to Europe and Helsinki. Each time I found a TOP notch 4-Star level of service! The plane was clean, the service from the stewardesses was excellent, and seating was spacious. In respect toward Airplane food is was delicious and filling. The free soft drinks, imported beer, and wines were almost on par with Austrian Air -- whose service is on top with Singapore airlines.

The only let down was at the JFK Checking in where the help is not very flexible and or friendly. However, Finnairs reservation staff in Melville Long Island made up for the grouchy "grandmother" who runs the airport counter.

I believe the prices were extremely competitive to Europe and also one of the fastest routes to the Far East.

To be honest, I had no gripes at all and would recommend this airline as an alternative to Lufthansa and US international airlines."
