I booked 4 tickets to Jamaica for Aug 2008 on
their website. I did all the leg work I could in terms of learning about additional fees. I even called the airlines and asked if there were additional fees other than baggage before I purchased my tickets. I was informed that there weren't.

I was okay with the $15 per bag, per flight($30 total for one bag - pre-paid of course, more at the airport)

But of course there were additional fees that I was not informed of. Get this! IF YOU WANT TO CHOOSE YOUR SEATS BEFORE CHECKING IN AT THE AIRPORT, YOU HAVE TO PAY ($5-15)TO HAVE A SEAT ASSIGNED TO YOU.

Want more? YOU HAVE TO PAY THIS "SEAT FEE" FOR EVERY LEG OF THE FLIGHT INBOUND AND OUTBOUND! I know they offer cheaper seats, but had I known, I would have have gone with a different carrier. I figured with a cheap price I would have to pay for everything, but paying to choose your seat is ridiculous!

Here's the icing on the cake! With all of the delays and cancelled flights I have been reading about, they dont' even offer you a complimentary beverage! You have to pay $2-$4 for a beverage or snack!
SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I can only anticipate the garbage that I will have to endure on my trip with one connection each way!"
