Upgrading the Interior Dome Lights on 2005 GMC Sierra

If your 2005 Sierra has map lights in the overhead console, replace those as well. Use 194 LED bulbs. Simply pry off the map light lens covers, pull out the old wedge bulbs, and insert the new LEDs. Again, check polarity by turning the lights on before reassembling. Some Sierra models also have footwell lights or under-dash lights. These typically use 194 bulbs as well. Replacing them completes the interior LED transformation. The result is a cab that feels modern, welcoming, and highly functional after dark.
