Adding fog lights while leaving the headlights in poor condition is like buying new glasses but keeping a dirty prescription lens. For the best results, restore or replace your headlight assemblies first. A properly functioning headlight system produces a wide, even beam pattern; the fog lights then supplement that pattern by casting a low, wide beam directly in front of the vehicle, cutting under fog, rain, or snow without reflecting glare back into your eyes.
