The 3-Layer PE Coating Technology
Our 3PE (Three-layer Polyethylene) coating provides the most robust protection against soil stress and corrosive environments. The structure consists of:
Layer 1 (Fusion Bonded Epoxy – FBE): A 60-100μm thick layer that provides superior chemical resistance and a strong bond to the steel surface.
Layer 2 (Copolymer Adhesive): A 200-300μm layer that serves as a bridge, ensuring the FBE layer is tightly bonded to the HDPE outer layer.
Layer 3 (High-Density Polyethylene – HDPE): A 2-4mm thick layer that provides excellent mechanical protection, moisture resistance, and impact durability.
