I have been following Embassy Knowledge Park (from the perspective of real estate and urban planning) that’s coming up in Yelahanka, Tharahunise. It’s proposed as a mega 200 acre township with a master plan comprised of multiple phases, beginning with Phase 1 of approximately 64 acres. While Phase 1 houses 4 tall apartment blocks with 855 homes, there is also a separate villa-focused enclosure of over 50 acres with 217 G+2 villas. 5 BHK for apartment options and a 4- to 5-BHK for villas.
The most interesting thing, I think, is the size of the master-plan and the attempt to mix residential neighborhoods, open spaces and lifestyle offerings with a key IT-driven commercial anchor. Developements of this scale can definitely play a crucial role in the transformation of nearby areas of North Bangalore over the next decade.
