Please note that all consumer comments and testimonials about SPAR’s products and their performance and service that are posted on this page are subject to various legal requirements and with these guiding principles and values, SPAR reserves the right to remove any product performance or service testimonials posted on its website (www.spar.co.za) or its respective social media pages (“sites”) that do not comply with the requirements.
Open, Honest Dialogue
SPAR is looking forward to sharing lots of information with you, but appreciates you understanding that it is unable to share proprietary, financial, and/or confidential information about itself or anybody else.
You can handle the truth!
SPAR is thrilled to have you join it in this dialogue, and look forward to hearing from you. If you do post on the Company’s sites please note that consumer comments or product and service testimonials:
. (i) must be based on your honest beliefs, opinions or experiences and knowledge or actual use of the product discussed or service received;
. (ii) must reflect experiences that are typical of what consumers generally experience; and
. (iii) must not be unfair or deceptive.
Power of Transparency
Like you, SPAR has lots of friends and partners, so it will be up front with you so you know who you are talking to. Posts by employees of the Company will be identified with SPAR. SPAR may create a variety of handles, user names, and other IDs to better serve you and build dialogue throughout the organization and the SPAR community, but no matter what, you will always know when you are talking to or hearing from the Company by the "SPAR" logo which will appear at the end of a post. Likewise, the Company asks you to disclose in or at the end of your post if you have any "material connection" with the Company, or have received from SPAR any free product or anything else that may be considered a thing of value or compensation.
Giving Credits where Credits are due
SPAR wants to share positive stories and may highlight the good work that others have done, or events that they are planning, and re-share content that SPAR’s friends have shared with it, so that you are well informed about all of the ways you can create a positive environment around you. In these cases, the Company will give credit where credit is due and when possible cite the source and link to the content. The Company will also always respect copyright laws.
How we say things...
SPAR do not wish to have on its sites language that is intentionally harassing, obscene, threatening, or defamatory. The Company will refrain from sharing or posting information that is insulting, obscene, profane, or otherwise intentionally harmful or incendiary. The Company will maintain its Code of Conduct at all times and asks that you maintain similar standards and comply with the law when sharing with SPAR!
SPAR is a values focused company
SPAR values your input and it would love to hear from you, but it also wants to make sure that it is fostering a positive community, so occasionally the Company may have to remove posts that violate the law or its internal policies, or are otherwise objectionable. The Company also asks you to recognize that opinions expressed by third parties on its sites may not be endorsed by the Company. The responsibility for third party content is solely that of the third party, not SPAR.
SPAR believes your time is valuable, so it believes the information and content its shares should add value to the SPAR community. The Company will not participate in spam-related activities.
