PIP organizes networking events, facilitates discussions on public interest opportunities, and provides grants to students working in unpaid internships Formed in 1984, Boston University's Public Interest Project (PIP) is a student-run organization whose mission is to foster a commitment to non-profit, government, and pro bono work and promote community service for all interested BU Law students and alumni, whether they ultimately pursue a public interest career or work in the private sector. To meet these goals, PIP organizes networking events, facilitates discussions and panels on public interest opportunities, and coordinates community service activities. Additionally, PIP helps raise money to provide grants to students who accept unpaid summer positions with non-profit, public interest or government organizations. 765 Commonwealth Ave 02215 Boston United States
