The Red Planet beckons!
India’s foray into interplanetary missions and space exploration is set to leapfrog with the enormously popular Mars Orbiter Mission (MoM).
In line with our tradition of innovation and creativity, ISRO is now at the threshold of raising the bar of performance by soaring ahead into deeper space by attempting to launch and orbit an indigenously built spacecraft around the red planet.
The spacecraft and Launch Vehicle are in good health and the countdown for the launch is all set to make our hearts beat faster than ever !
The onus of this launch rests on the flagship launch vehicle of ISRO-the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). The PSLV has already clocked two decades of space victories and is now ready for its Silver jubilee mission carrying its most prestigious payload.
Here, through this page, we bring to you the latest authentic updates on this mission. We would love to hear from you; your feedbacks/comments/suggestions and all that you want to share with us. And when you want to hear from the horse’s mouth on this mission, you don’t have to look beyond this page !
So fasten your seat belts and get ready to venture into the unknown frontiers of Martian influence!
Welcome on-board MoM !
