Fitness is defined when someone says they have a good physical condition and a variety of exercise routine. By 1950, possibly tied to the catch phrase of the Industrial Revolution and world war II, the word ӦitԠactually increased in common western vernacular by ten percent. At that time, exercise was one of the most popular ways to keep the body in shape and increase life expectancy. Since then, the emphasis has turned more to diet than exercise.

The best way to increase fitness is to include both activity and diet in your daily life. This is known as multi-faceted fitness which means the combination of several fitness components. Exercise is important but to improve fitness you also need to be eating a balanced diet rich in complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Low intensity and long distance cardiovascular exercise can also help to improve fitness.

There are several foods that are beneficial to fitness and diet. Lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and beans all contain high quality protein, fiber, and carbohydrates. Lean meats are low in fat and cholesterol and are easy to prepare and eat. Some of the healthiest and most delicious foods are vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains. They contain essential dietary fibers, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Vegetables and fruits are excellent for your health because they help to prevent obesity, heart disease, and stroke.

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is an effective form of exercise for increasing fitness and enhancing your health and fitness level. HIIT increases your metabolism, improves your fitness and builds muscle strength quickly. You can use it to build lean muscles, lose weight, increase your stamina and endurance, and improve your athletic performance. High intensity interval training can help you to lose weight, build lean muscle mass, and improve your fitness and endurance. It is also effective for improving your golf and running performance.

There are many types of physical activity that you can choose from to maintain and improve your fitness and health. You can participate in cardiovascular exercises, muscle Strengthening activities, and aerobic activities such as dancing, cycling, and swimming. All these forms of physical activity are beneficial for your overall health and fitness. Swimming, rowing, running, and biking are good examples of cardiovascular exercises.

A healthy diet is important for every individual because the proper nutrition enhances health and fitness. You need to balance nutrition, including nutrient intake, with sensible eating or avoiding certain food items. Nutrition counseling is often provided by health professionals and it is highly recommended to eat several smaller meals during the day instead of skipping meals. Proper nutrition is essential for preventing common diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Moreover, if you are exercising, it is necessary to include a good amount of protein, carbohydrates, and fats into your workout so as to have the desired outcome of weight loss, fat reduction, muscle-strengthening activities, and improved cardiovascular fitness.

Finally, it is necessary to have a lot of rest between exercising and working out because too little workout sessions results in low muscle-to-fat ratio and low levels of physical fitness. It is recommended that you engage in at least three to four times a week of moderate intensity exercises to prevent muscle deterioration. In addition, it is also necessary to provide your body with the right amount of rest after every session. Your muscles need time to heal, while the body requires enough time to absorb the nutrition and get rid of the fats that you burned during your exercise routine.
