Eye discharge often gets accumulated at the corner of the eyes. Normal eye discharge can appear to be a goop or a crusty residue. The eye discharge can be a mixture of dust, body oil, dead skin cells, and water. Healthy pets keep releasing a small amount of discharge from time to time. You might have noticed eye discharge after your pet is up from its nap or deep sleep. You shouldn’t worry if the eye discharge is constant with no severe change in color and texture.
