Frontier Airlines is a low-cost airline headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The airline operates scheduled and charter services to 34 destinations in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Europe and Asia. Frontier was founded in 1987 and began operations as an air shuttle between Denver and Las Vegas. In 1991, Frontier signed on as the first U.S. carrier to fly to Cuba and has continued to fly to the island nation since that time. In addition to its domestic routes, Frontier serves international destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, Central America and Asia.
