The expression "molecular glue (MG)" has been used to refer to scaffolding and anchoring proteins that are used to spatiotemporally limit and organize different types of kinase and/or phosphatase signaling cascades in cells. Molecular glues are significantly smaller, have excellent therapeutic qualities, and have high atomic availability.
