Recently, I had to make an end of the year payment to myself and proceed to use their electronic bill pay system. I put in a date two days from the present and their software program prompted me that it was too soon to be executed. Sooooooooooo, I made it three days, no prompt and it went through flawlessly. However, 30 seconds later, (as usual) I received an email confirmation saying that it went through and the fees involved in this transaction. Sage added a 10.00 fee for 'priority' deliver which is based upon the 3 day window. Apparently, this is a service they provide at an additional fee. Wow, that's really nice of them however they didn't prompt me that there would be an upcharge and there was no hurry for these two checks to hit my account. So, within a minute of my execution of this process and their notification to me, I contacted them to either just remove it (shame on me) or move it beyond the priority date. You would have thought that a 15 year customer, who has spent thousands of dollars with this company buying their product asked them to jump off a bridge. After numerous contacts with staff such as Nel'Via "Alexis" Conrad and her manager, Brian Walker (who never contacted me), nothing was resolved.
Now, you understand, this is all over a 10.00 fee. So, I'm done! I will never use a Sage product again starting in 2013 and it was all over $10.00. Not a way to run a business. Most importantly, not a way to handle a loyal customer.
