The Islamic University of al-Madinah al-Munawarah was founded by the government of Saudi Arabia by a royal decree in 1961 in the Islamic holy city of Medina.AcademicsUniversity students may study Sharia, Qur'an, Dawah/Usul al-din, Hadith, and Arabic.
